ERICA OOSTHUYSEN - PRINCIPAL TEACHER and OWNER

My passion for young children has driven me to become a Dance Teacher, Choreographer and Examiner.

I am affiliated to the Independent Dance Federation of SA and have obtained my qualification as an advanced

Acrobatic teacher from AFSA, Associate Modern Qualification from SABOD, as well as Lyrical qualification from IDF. ASSA registered Acro Sport Coach.

I am also a qualified Acro-Gymnastics Coach at SAGF

It is my life goal to make a difference in each and every child's life that crosses my path.

HANNELIE SMITH - TEAM CO-ORDINATOR

I am the co-ordinator of the team at Dance Factor. I have been part of Dance Factor for 16 years..
Managing administration matters and the dance Factor gear shop is my main priorities, 

but working with parents and the dance children is where my passion lies. I am the "nurse-

mommy-caretaker" of the studio, 

making sure each and every child feels safe and at home when they come to class.

SHYLAH HEPKE  - TEACHER - WX Hip-Hop

Dance is a very expressive sport, so much so that it is art. Dancing is my partner in crime and 

has truly changed my life. Sharing this passion and knowledge with other aspiring dancers 

makes it even more worthwhile. I love children and their young crazy incredible little minds.

Finding something that will carry you through life is so important for a young person. 

 I've been dancing for as long as I can remember and have trained under many wonderful 

teachers; Michaela Rossi, Elanie Le Roux and André Caltiz. I have recieved my qualifications 

in the WX hiphop syllabus and have trained many years with AIDT as well.

 ANGELIQUE DU PLESSIS-TEACHER LYRICAL, ACROBATICS AND MODERN JAZZ

I have been part of the dance industry for 18 years and I have been part of Dance factor since I 

can remember. I have experience in the professional dance world and dance experience in the 

styles; Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and Ballet. I am an IDF Qualified dance 

teacher with 7 years experience, I love working with children of all ages to help them develop 

as a dancer and to reach their full potential.

GILLIAN VAN RYNEVELD - ACRO GYMNASTICS COACH

What started as being an involved mom at my daughter’s acrobatic gymnastics,soon evolved 

into a passion of my own. I started by doing the level 1 Acro Gymnastics Judges 

Course, and soon after started assisting with coaching. 

Thereafter I did the General Leader Gymnastics Course,

and am currently busy with the Acro Gymnastics Level 1 Coaches Course.

I enjoy teaching children the sport, and love seeing them excel while earning valuable 

experience in teamwork, commitment, and perseverance.
